Indonesia's first classical music forum on Instagram
The name of @musikklasikgram was inspired by @indomusikgram (created by Christian Bong) for the purpose of creating a platform for classical music in Indonesia, which at that time was a new concept.
Indonesia is one of world's largest Instagram users, which lead Biga to see it as an opportunity to create a non-profit project which helps indonesian classical musicians to be more exposed and even more motivated. "Sometimes your Instagram feed can seem like an endless parade of food photos, vacation-goals updates, and tired memes. You need a change, a healthy classical music infusion. With this, I hope that not only will people get beautiful musical posts, but also musicians all across Indonesia can be featured and celebrated, " says Biga. With the help of his friends, Carla Suharto and Bryant Gozali, this instagram account reposts videos of people from all over Indonesia. Furthermore, @musikklasikgram has been the biggest media partner of many classical events in the country.
